Tricia Short

Social Services Case Coordinator

Tricia joined the Philadelphia Access Center team in 2016 after relocating back to the Philadelphia area. Originally from New Jersey, she attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, earning a diploma in Practical Theology. There she also met her husband, Paul. They moved to Tucson, Arizona, and spent over ten years serving in churches and ministries. Tricia worked in multiple roles at Teen Challenge's Springboard Home for Youth in Crisis. She and her husband are both ordained ministers through The Vineyard Movement. After 18 years away from the greater Philadelphia area, the Lord transplanted them back to South Jersey. Tricia learned about the Philadelphia Access Center through a family member and was immediately drawn to the mission of revealing Christ through compassionate service. One of Tricia's greatest passions is connecting people with what they need, whether emotionally, spiritually, or physically. She also has a special place in her heart for moms. It gives her great joy to see people finding hope in the Lord and connecting with others. In her free time, Tricia enjoys sewing -- with a particular gift for making fun and feminine aprons! -- and cooking.Tricia and Paul and their three young children, Hannah and twins Selah and Jadon, love going on family adventures, playing family games, doing service projects for the community, and exploring the city of Philadelphia.
